The silver, black and gold rings of the Oasis Collection on dark stone blocks

Quick answer

The Whoop price in the UAE is a membership: you pay for a plan, One, Peak or Life, and the band comes with it. When the membership ends, Whoop stops collecting new data. Sisly is a titanium ring or band at AED 999, paid once, with no membership and readings hosted in the UAE.

Key takeaways

  • Whoop is sold as a membership in three tiers, One, Peak and Life, with the band included.
  • Whoop says that once a membership ends, data is no longer collected, uploaded or analysed.
  • Whoop's band lists 14 or more days per charge and has no screen.
  • Sisly is AED 999, paid once, and lasts about 7 days per charge.
  • Whoop is built around strain and recovery for training; Sisly gives plain-words notes against your own normal.

How do Whoop and Sisly compare at a glance?

Whoop and Sisly both sit on your body day and night and read how you slept and how you are recovering. They are paid for in opposite ways. Whoop is a membership with the band included. Sisly is a ring or band you buy once.

For every ring and band on sale here, start with our guide to the best smart rings in the UAE.

What is the Whoop price in the UAE?

Whoop does not sell the band on its own. You buy a membership, and the band comes with it. Since May 2025, Whoop has offered three tiers:

  • One, with the Whoop 5.0 band.
  • Peak, with the Whoop 5.0 band and more features, such as Whoop’s Healthspan view.
  • Life, with the Whoop MG band, which adds heart features such as an on-demand ECG and blood pressure insights.

Membership prices differ by country and by the length of plan. The price we checked is in the table above. In the UAE, Whoop memberships bundled with the band are also listed at major retailers, including Amazon.ae, noon and Virgin Megastore, usually as 12-month packages.

When you compare, look at the whole length of time you plan to wear it. A membership is paid again every year you keep using it.

What does Whoop do best?

Whoop is built for people who train. Its app is organised around three measures:

  • Strain, the load on your body through the day, on a 0 to 21 scale.
  • Recovery, a percentage each morning, based on your resting heart rate, heart rate variability, breathing rate, sleep, skin temperature and blood oxygen.
  • Sleep, including stages and how much sleep Whoop estimates you need.

Heart rate variability, or HRV, is the small change in time between one heartbeat and the next. It differs a great deal between people, which is why Whoop, like Sisly, compares you with your own history.

The band has no screen, so there is nothing to light up at night or distract you in a meeting. Whoop lists 14 or more days per charge for its current band. It charges with a battery pack that slides onto the band, so you can charge it without taking it off.

If you plan your training around a daily number, Whoop is designed for exactly that.

What does Sisly do best?

Sisly is a titanium ring or band. It reads sleep, energy, stress, heart rate variability, activity and skin temperature against your own normal, and tells you in plain words what it noticed. There are no scores to reach and nothing to keep up.

Sisly is AED 999, paid once. There is no membership, so nothing changes if you stop paying, because there is nothing to pay. A charge lasts about 7 days.

Your readings are hosted in the UAE. The app is in Arabic and English. Sisly comes in three finishes named after oases: Ain in silver, Hasa in black and Liwa in gold. It is available to pre-book.

What happens if you stop paying for Whoop?

This is the question many people only ask after a year. Whoop’s support pages are clear. Once your membership has ended, data is no longer collected, uploaded or analysed. You can still look at the history you already have.

Whoop also explains what happens if you come back. If you restart within 90 days, it keeps your data and you avoid a new calibration period. After 90 days, your baseline is reset, and Whoop needs time to learn your normal again.

So with Whoop, you are paying for the service as well as the band. That is a fair model for someone who values the coaching and the app. It is worth knowing before you buy, not after.

With Sisly, there is no membership to end. The ring keeps reading, and the app keeps showing what it noticed, for as long as you wear it.

Wrist band or ring: which is easier to wear day and night?

This is personal. Some people forget a ring within a day. Others prefer a band on the wrist because they already wear a watch strap there.

A few things to think about:

  • Sleep. You wear either one all night. Think about which you would notice less in bed.
  • Work and occasions. A ring can sit with other jewellery. A fabric band suits sport and casual clothes.
  • Hands. If you lift weights or work with your hands, try both shapes.

Sisly comes as a ring or a band, so you can choose the shape without changing how you pay.

Price and cost over three years: how do you add it up?

A fair comparison adds up every payment over the time you plan to wear the device. For three years:

  1. Take the upfront price in AED.
  2. Add any membership for each year you will pay it.
  3. Add anything you would need to replace, such as a charger or strap.

Whoop over three years. There is no separate device price. Take the yearly membership price for your tier from the table above and multiply it by three. If you choose monthly billing, multiply the monthly price by 36 instead. The band is included for as long as you pay.

Sisly over three years. AED 999, paid once. Year two and year three add nothing.

The more years you wear a membership device, the larger the gap grows. That does not make a membership wrong. It just means the sum is worth doing. Our smart ring prices in the UAE page lists what each product costs after you buy, updated monthly.

Where is your data kept?

Sisly’s readings are hosted in the UAE.

For Whoop, see the provider’s privacy policy. Only Whoop can say where it stores and processes your data, and that can change. Read it before you buy if data location matters to you or to your employer.

Which one suits you?

Choose Whoop if:

  • You train hard and want a daily strain and recovery score to plan around.
  • You value the coaching and app features that come with a membership.
  • You want a screenless wrist band with a long battery that charges while you wear it.

Choose Sisly if:

  • You want to pay once, AED 999, and never again.
  • You would rather wear a ring, or want the choice of ring or band.
  • You want plain-words notes against your own normal, not scores.
  • You want your readings hosted in the UAE and an app in Arabic and English.

Where can you buy Whoop in Dubai?

At the time of checking, Whoop memberships with the band were sold on Whoop’s own site and listed at major UAE retailers, including Amazon.ae, noon and Virgin Megastore. Check which tier and which length of membership a retailer’s package includes, and how the membership renews after it ends.

Sisly is available to pre-book on this site.

Questions, answered

How much does Whoop cost in the UAE?
Whoop is priced as a membership rather than a device. You choose a plan, One, Peak or Life, and the band is included with it. The table in this article shows the membership price we checked and the date. UAE retailers such as Amazon.ae, noon and Virgin Megastore also sell Whoop memberships bundled with the band, and their prices change, so compare on the day you buy.
Can I use Whoop without a membership?
Not for new readings. Whoop's support pages say that once your membership has ended, data will no longer be collected, uploaded or analysed. You can still view the history you already have. Whoop also says that if you come back within 90 days it keeps your data, while after 90 days your baseline is reset and needs time to recalibrate.
Does Sisly need a subscription?
No. Sisly is AED 999, paid once, with nothing to pay after. Sleep, energy, stress, heart rate variability, activity and skin temperature are all part of that one price. There is no tier to choose and nothing that stops working if you do not renew, because there is nothing to renew.
Which lasts longer on a charge, Whoop or Sisly?
Whoop lists 14 or more days per charge for its current band, and it can be charged while you wear it with a battery pack that slides on. Sisly lasts about 7 days between charges. Both figures are the makers' own and real results vary with the features you use and the age of the battery.
Is Whoop or Sisly better for training?
Whoop is built for training. Its app scores strain on a 0 to 21 scale and recovery as a percentage each morning, so it suits people who plan workouts around those numbers. Sisly does not give scores. It reads your sleep, energy, stress, heart rate variability, activity and skin temperature against your own normal and tells you in plain words what it noticed.
Where is my data kept with Whoop and with Sisly?
Sisly's readings are hosted in the UAE. For Whoop, see the provider's privacy policy, which explains where your data is stored and how it is processed. If your employer has rules about health data, or you prefer to know where your readings sit, check the policy of any wearable before you buy.
