What does the Samsung Galaxy Ring cost in the UAE, next to Sisly?
The table below sets the two rings side by side: form, price, what you pay after you buy, battery, screen, where readings are kept and app languages. Prices come from public UAE listings, with the month we checked them.
| Product | Form | Price | After purchase | Battery | Screen | Where your data is kept | App languages |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Samsung Galaxy Ring | Ring | From AED 1,499 (list price) | None required | Up to 7 days (maker’s figure) | None | See provider’s privacy policy | — |
| Sisly Oasis | Ring or band | AED 999 | None, paid once | About 7 days | None | Hosted in the UAE | Arabic and English |
Both are titanium rings with no screen and no subscription. The differences are in the phone each one needs, the app it lives in, and where your readings go.
What is the Samsung Galaxy Ring?
Samsung Galaxy Ring is Samsung’s first smart ring. Samsung Gulf brought it to the UAE in October 2024, selling it in shops and online across the country. It is made of titanium and comes in three finishes: Titanium Black, Titanium Silver and Titanium Gold.
The ring carries three sensors: an accelerometer for movement, an optical sensor for heart signals and a skin temperature sensor. Its readings go into the Samsung Health app. Samsung lists sleep tracking, heart rate, cycle tracking, automatic workout detection for walking and running, and a finger gesture that controls some phone functions.
On the Samsung Gulf store the Galaxy Ring comes in sizes 5 to 15, although not every size is offered in every colour. Samsung sends a free sizing kit first, and you confirm your size within 14 days of ordering.
What is Sisly?
Sisly is a titanium smart ring or band from the UAE. It is AED 999, paid once, with no subscription. It reads sleep, energy, stress, heart rate variability, activity and skin temperature, and compares each against your own normal rather than a population average.
Heart rate variability, or HRV, is the variation in time between one heartbeat and the next. A 2017 review in Frontiers in Public Health describes it as a window on how the nervous system regulates the heart, which is why a single night means less than the pattern over weeks.
Sisly lasts about 7 days between charges. Your readings are hosted in the UAE, and the app is in Arabic and English. Sisly is available to pre-book now.
Which phones does each ring work with?
This is the first question to answer, because it can decide the whole comparison for you.
Samsung lists Android 11 or later and the Samsung Health app as the requirement for the Galaxy Ring. Its UAE store does not list iPhone support. Samsung also says some features work best, or only, with a Samsung Galaxy phone. Energy Score, for example, needs a compatible Samsung Galaxy phone with Galaxy AI, the Samsung Health app and a Samsung account.
Sisly works with iPhone and Android. If your household mixes the two, or you might change phones in the next few years, that flexibility counts.
| Samsung Galaxy Ring | Sisly | |
|---|---|---|
| iPhone | Not listed by Samsung | Yes |
| Android | Android 11 or later | Yes |
| Some features need a Samsung Galaxy phone | Yes (Samsung’s note) | No |
| App | Samsung Health | Sisly app, Arabic and English |
What does each ring read?
Both rings read sleep, heart rate, heart rate variability and skin temperature. The way each app turns those readings into something you can use is where they part.
Samsung Galaxy Ring
Samsung Health turns the ring’s readings into sleep stages, heart rate and cycle tracking. On a compatible Galaxy phone, Samsung adds Energy Score, which Samsung describes as your physical readiness based on the previous day’s sleep, heart rate and activity. The ring also detects walks and runs on its own and lets you find a lost ring from your phone.
If you already wear a Galaxy Watch, Samsung says the ring and the watch work together in Samsung Health.
Sisly
Sisly reads six things: sleep, energy, stress, heart rate variability, activity and skin temperature. Each is read against your own normal, so the question the app answers is how today compares with your usual, not how you compare with somebody else.
Neither ring is a medical device. Both give you general information about your day and your night; neither diagnoses anything.
What does each do best?
Samsung Galaxy Ring does its best work for someone already inside Samsung. It sits in the same Samsung Health app as a Galaxy phone and a Galaxy Watch, it needs no subscription, and it carries a 10ATM water-resistance rating with IP68 from Samsung. The charging case holds extra charges, which is useful when you travel.
Sisly does its best work for someone who wants a ring that does not depend on the brand of their phone, with readings kept in the UAE and an app written in Arabic as well as English. You pay once and nothing after.
How long does the battery last?
Samsung gives up to 7 days for the Galaxy Ring and notes that the figure depends on size: its US page says 7 days for the two largest sizes and up to 6 days for smaller ones. The charging case can hold further charges, which Samsung says brings the total to up to 14 days away from a socket.
Sisly lasts about 7 days between charges.
In practice, both mean charging roughly once a week. A ring that charges weekly can stay on through the night, which is when sleep readings are taken.
What does each cost over three years?
The purchase price is only part of the cost of a wearable. Add any membership you would pay for, and then think about how long you will wear it.
Here is a simple way to work it out in AED:
- Take the price of the ring from the table at the top of this page.
- Add 36 months of any membership you would need. For both of these rings, that is zero.
- Divide by 36 to see the cost per month of wear.
For Sisly, that is AED 999 over three years with nothing to add. For the Galaxy Ring, it is the list price in the table with nothing to add, unless you also buy a Galaxy phone to use features that need one.
That last point is the hidden cost worth checking. If you use an iPhone today, the Galaxy Ring also means a change of phone. For a wider view of ring prices, see smart ring prices in the UAE and smart rings without a subscription.
Galaxy Ring price in the UAE: what changes what you pay?
The list price is the starting point, not always the price at the till. Three things move it.
- Where you buy. The Samsung Gulf store, large electronics chains, online marketplaces and telecom shops all sell the Galaxy Ring, and each runs its own offers.
- When you buy. Retailers run their own sales through the year. The table at the top shows the list price in the month we checked, not a sale price.
- How you pay. Samsung’s Saudi store has offered instalments through Tabby and Tamara for limited periods. Spreading the cost does not change the total, so compare the full amount.
Sisly is AED 999, paid once, with nothing to pay after.
What is worth checking before you buy either ring?
A short list makes the choice easier, whichever ring you lean towards.
- Check your phone: an iPhone rules out the Galaxy Ring today.
- Check the app language: Sisly’s app is in Arabic and English; for Samsung Health, check the language settings on your own phone.
- Check your size with a sizing kit before you pay for the ring.
- Check where your readings are kept, in the privacy policy of each brand.
- Check the warranty and return terms of the shop you buy from.

Is it worth waiting for a Galaxy Ring 2?
Samsung has not announced a date or price for a second Galaxy Ring. Reports in May 2026 said a successor was unlikely before early 2027. Rumours about longer battery life and iPhone support are just that until Samsung confirms them.
If you need a ring now, compare what is on sale now. If the next Galaxy Ring matters to you, wait for Samsung’s own announcement and its UAE price before you decide.
Galaxy Ring vs Oura: where does the Oura Ring fit?
If you are also weighing the Oura Ring, it works with iPhone and Android, and Oura says its insights are much more limited without a paid membership. We set all three side by side in Oura vs Galaxy Ring vs Sisly and compare Oura on its own in Oura vs Sisly.
Which one suits you?
Choose Samsung Galaxy Ring if you use a Samsung Galaxy phone, you already keep your health data in Samsung Health, or you wear a Galaxy Watch and want a ring for the night.
Choose Sisly if you use an iPhone or might switch phones, you want to pay once and nothing after, you want your readings kept in the UAE, or you want an app in Arabic.
Either way, size the ring before you commit. Samsung sends a free sizing kit and asks you to confirm your size within 14 days; Sisly comes in sizes 7 to 14.
Where can I buy each one in the UAE?
Samsung sells the Galaxy Ring through the Samsung Gulf online store and through major electronics retailers and telecom shops in the UAE. Buying from Samsung or an authorised retailer keeps the local warranty simple.

Questions, answered
- How much is the Samsung Galaxy Ring in the UAE?
- Samsung launched the Galaxy Ring in the UAE in October 2024 and sells it through its own store and major retailers. The list price we checked is in the table at the top of this page, with the month we checked it. Retailers run offers from time to time, so compare the Samsung Gulf store with one or two large UAE retailers on the day you buy.
- Does the Galaxy Ring work with an iPhone?
- Samsung lists Android 11 or later and the Samsung Health app as the requirements for the Galaxy Ring, and does not list iPhone support on its UAE store. If you use an iPhone, the Galaxy Ring is not the ring for you today. Sisly works with both iPhone and Android.
- Does the Galaxy Ring need a subscription?
- No. Samsung sells the Galaxy Ring without a subscription, and the readings in Samsung Health do not need a monthly fee. Some features, such as Energy Score, need a compatible Samsung Galaxy phone rather than a payment. Sisly has no subscription either: you pay AED 999 once.
- Which ring lasts longer between charges?
- They are close. Samsung gives up to 7 days for the Galaxy Ring and notes that smaller sizes last a little less, with extra charges held in its charging case. Sisly lasts about 7 days between charges. In both cases the real figure depends on how you use the ring and which features you turn on.
- Is there a Galaxy Ring 2 coming?
- Samsung has not announced a release date for a second Galaxy Ring. Reports in May 2026 pointed to early 2027 at the earliest. If you are choosing now, compare the rings on sale today and treat any successor as unconfirmed until Samsung names a date and a price for the UAE.
- Where is my data kept with each ring?
- Sisly hosts your readings in the UAE. Samsung Galaxy Ring readings go to Samsung Health, and where they are stored is set out in Samsung's own terms, so see the provider's privacy policy for the details. If this matters to you, read the policy before you buy rather than after.
- Can I wear either ring in the heat and at the pool?
- Samsung rates the Galaxy Ring at 10ATM and IP68 for water resistance, which covers swimming and the shower. Both rings are titanium and have no screen to protect. For Sisly, final wear-and-care details, including water, are confirmed at launch, so check them when you pre-book.
