What does the Ultrahuman Ring do best?
The Ultrahuman Ring AIR is a light titanium ring built around sleep, recovery and movement. Ultrahuman describes readings for sleep stages, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, a stress rhythm through the day, steps and workouts. It also offers cycle and ovulation tracking for women.
Heart rate variability, or HRV, is the small change in time between one heartbeat and the next. Cleveland Clinic notes that an HRV that is normal for one person may not be normal for another, which is why rings compare you with your own history rather than with a chart.
Ultrahuman’s strongest point is choice. You can keep the ring as it comes, or buy PowerPlugs, which are extra features sold on their own terms. That suits someone who likes to pick exactly what they pay for.
The ring is widely sold in the UAE. At the time of checking, it was listed on Ultrahuman’s own UAE store and at major retailers including Amazon.ae and Azadea. Ultrahuman also offers a free sizing kit before you order. A newer Ring PRO was listed for pre-order on Ultrahuman’s site.
What does Sisly do best?
Sisly is a titanium ring or band that reads sleep, energy, stress, heart rate variability, activity and skin temperature against your own normal. It then tells you, in plain words, what it noticed. There are no scores to chase.
Sisly is AED 999, paid once. There is no membership and no add-on store, so every reading Sisly takes is part of that one price. A charge lasts about 7 days.
Your readings are hosted in the UAE. The app is in Arabic and English. Sisly comes in three finishes named after oases: Ain in silver, Hasa in black and Liwa in gold. Sisly is available to pre-book.
Is the Ultrahuman Ring really free of subscriptions in the UAE?
Yes, for the core readings. Ultrahuman’s UAE store states that there are no recurring subscription fees for the Ring AIR. You buy the ring, install the app and see your sleep, heart and movement readings without paying again.
The detail worth knowing is PowerPlugs. These are optional features that Ultrahuman sells separately. On its UAE store at the time of checking, two paid PowerPlugs were listed:
- AFib detection, on a one-year or two-year term.
- Cycle and Ovulation Plus, on a one-year or two-year term.
Ultrahuman also sells optional device cover, called UltrahumanX, for one or two years. None of these is needed to use the ring.
So “no subscription” is accurate, as long as you are happy with the features that come free. If you know you want one of the paid PowerPlugs, add it to your three-year sum below.
Sisly works differently. There is nothing to add on. What you get on day one is what you have in year three.
What do the two rings read?
Both rings read sleep, heart rate variability and movement through the day. Both compare your readings with your own baseline, your personal normal, rather than a generic target.
Where they differ is in presentation. Ultrahuman presents named features, such as its stress rhythm and its sleep stage breakdown. Sisly leans towards a short plain-words note: what it noticed in your sleep, your energy or your stress, compared with your own normal.
Neither ring is a tool for diagnosing anything. Ultrahuman’s AFib detection is an optional paid feature; read Ultrahuman’s own description of what it does and does not do before relying on it. Sisly is not a medical device. If a reading worries you, speak to your doctor.
How long does each battery last?
Ultrahuman’s UAE store lists 4 to 6 days on a full charge for the Ring AIR. It lists about 180 minutes to charge from empty to full.
Sisly lasts about 7 days between charges.
Battery figures from any maker are a guide. Real battery life depends on ring size, which features you switch on, and the age of the battery.
In practice, the question is how often you want to take the ring off. Every charge is a gap in your readings, often during the day. A longer gap between charges means fewer gaps in your record.
Price and cost over three years: how do you add it up?
The price on the box is only part of the cost. To compare fairly, add up three things over the time you plan to wear the ring:
- The price of the ring in AED on the day you buy.
- Any membership, multiplied by the number of months or years you will pay it.
- Any optional add-ons you know you will buy, such as a PowerPlug or device cover.
Here is the worked example, using the prices in the table above.
Ultrahuman Ring AIR over three years. Take the ring’s price. There is no membership to add. If you want a PowerPlug, add its price for each term you renew over three years, for example three one-year terms or one two-year term plus one one-year term. If you choose none, your three-year cost is the ring price.
Sisly over three years. AED 999, paid once. There is nothing to add in year two or year three.
Retail prices in the UAE change often. Retailers such as Amazon.ae and Azadea run discounts, and makers run seasonal offers. Compare prices on the same day, from the maker’s UAE store and at least one major retailer.

Where is your data kept?
Sisly’s readings are hosted in the UAE.
For Ultrahuman, see the provider’s privacy policy. It sets out where your readings are stored and how they are processed. We do not state where another company keeps its data, because only that company can say so accurately and it can change.
If you work somewhere with rules about health data, or you simply prefer to know, read the privacy policy of any ring before you buy. Our piece on why nobody should see your team’s health data explains why this matters at work.
Which one suits you?
Both rings skip the monthly fee. The choice comes down to what else you care about.
Choose the Ultrahuman Ring if:
- You want to pick optional extras, such as AFib detection or Cycle and Ovulation Plus, and are happy to pay for them on their own terms.
- You like named features and detailed breakdowns.
- You want a ring that is on the shelf in the UAE today, with a free sizing kit.
Choose Sisly if:
- You want one price, AED 999, with nothing to add later.
- You would like the choice of a ring or a band.
- You want your readings hosted in the UAE.
- You want an app in Arabic and English.
- You prefer short, plain-words notes over scores.

Where can you buy an Ultrahuman Ring in the UAE?
At the time of checking, the Ultrahuman Ring AIR was sold on Ultrahuman’s UAE store and listed at major UAE retailers, including Amazon.ae and Azadea. Prices differed between them, so compare on the day. Check the return policy and the warranty of the seller you use, especially for a sizing mistake.
Sisly is available to pre-book on this site.

Questions, answered
- Does the Ultrahuman Ring need a subscription in the UAE?
- No. Ultrahuman's UAE store says there are no recurring subscription fees for the Ring AIR. The core readings, such as sleep, heart rate, heart rate variability and movement, come with the ring. Ultrahuman does sell optional paid features called PowerPlugs, including AFib detection and Cycle and Ovulation Plus, on one- or two-year terms. You only pay for those if you choose them.
- Does Sisly need a subscription?
- No. Sisly is AED 999, paid once, with nothing to pay after. Every reading Sisly takes, including sleep, energy, stress, heart rate variability, activity and skin temperature, is part of that one price. There is no membership tier and no add-on store, so the cost on the day you buy is the cost for as long as you wear it.
- How long does the battery last on each ring?
- Ultrahuman's UAE store lists 4 to 6 days on a full charge for the Ring AIR, and about 180 minutes to charge from empty to full. Sisly lasts about 7 days between charges. Real battery life for any ring depends on its size, the features you switch on and how old the battery is, so treat both figures as the maker's guide.
- Where is my data kept with Ultrahuman and with Sisly?
- Sisly's readings are hosted in the UAE. For Ultrahuman, read the provider's privacy policy, which sets out where and how your readings are stored and processed. If data location matters to you, for work or for your own peace of mind, check the policy before you buy rather than after you have months of readings in the app.
- Is Sisly a medical device?
- No. Sisly is not a medical device. It reads sleep, energy, stress, heart rate variability, activity and skin temperature against your own normal and tells you in plain words what it noticed. It does not diagnose anything. If a reading worries you, or you have symptoms, speak to your doctor rather than relying on a ring.
- Which ring suits an Arabic speaker?
- Sisly's app is in Arabic and English, so you can read your nights and days in either language. For the Ultrahuman app, check the languages listed on its App Store or Google Play page before you buy, because app languages change with updates. If you share a home with family who prefer Arabic, test the app language first.
